MIDLAND, Mich. - The Lake Superior State (LSSU) women's basketball team (0-2) fell on the road to the Northwood Timberwolves (1-1) by a final score of 72-55 on Saturday.

However, Northwood still found themselves ahead at the halftime break.
The Lakers came out swinging to start the third quarter, opening the half with a 12-0 run to get back to within one with a three from senior CeCe Hacker (Omaha, Neb.) and multiple baskets from Bradford.
