DETROIT, Mich. – The Lake Superior State (LSSU) women's golf team competed at the 2024 Warrior Invitational on Monday and Tuesday where they placed eighth overall out of nine teams.

The Lakers were once again led by Kiera Cotter (Etobicoke, Ont.) who improved by six strokes on the second round to jump nine spots on the individual leader board, placing 13^th overall. Meanwhile, Lekisha Sasitharan (Shah Alam, Malaysia) also had a solid outing, placing 26^th overall with a two-day total of 165 strokes. Meanwhile, Mackenzie Davidson (Rockford, Mich.) utilized a consistent performance on her way to a combined total of 177 shots at the event. Jesse Hellebuyck (Almont, Mich.) and Natalie Kellogg (Montague, Mich.) rounded out the lineup with respective totals of 181 and 189.

The Lakers return to action on Sunday, Oct. 6 when they travel to Romeoville, Ill. for the Flyer Intercollegiate, hosted by Lewis.
