KENOSHA, Wis. - The Lake Superior State (LSSU) women's basketball program (5-11, 2-6 GLIAC) fell on the road to the Rangers of Wisconsin-Parkside (11-4, 6-2 GLIAC) by a final score of 74-62 on Saturday, despite a career-high, 29-point performance from Breah Golden (Arcadia, Wis.).
Both teams battled early as a three from Taylor Clarey (Rochester, Minn.) put the Lakers up by one. However, despite multiple buckets from Golden, Parkside was able to go up by six after the first ten minutes of action.

However, Parkside was able to push ahead again to claim a 38-26 advantage going into the break.
The Lakers fought back in the second half with a 14-3 run that featured nine points from Golden. However, despite a fourth quarter three from Metz to pull her team to within four, the Rangers were able to pull back ahead to close out the game.Â
Golden's career-high 29 points led all players on the day. Meanwhile, CeCe Hacker (Omaha, Neb.) also finished with double figures with 13 points of her own.
