Nwoke led LSSU (6-5, 0-2 GLIAC) in scoring, putting up his monster line in just 12 minutes off the bench. It was a statement performance in a massive win. He headlined on a day filled with good performances.
Harrison Sorrelle hit four shots for 10 points, while
Tyler Jamison went 4-for-4 from the floor for 12 points. He punctuated his time on the floor with a massive jam in the second half, attacking the rim with dangerous intent. He also snatched seeven rebounds with three assists, two steals and a block in only 13 minutes.Â
LSSU held the Thunderbirds (0-11, 0-10 OUA) to just 25.4% from the field. 43 of Algoma's 63 shots came from behind the three-point arc, and the team shot just 23.3% from deep.
