Andrew Langford scored a hat trick on Friday with a goal in each period. He tallied his 17th, 18th and 19th goals of the season, then added two more strikes on Saturday. Langford's relentless offensive output drove the Lakers (10-14-2), while Chris Kavanugh also scored twice on Saturday.
Seth Stock's sixth of the year came on Saturday, and it marked the game-winning tally.
Davenport (12-12-0) also got a Friday night hat trick, with Gabriel Olenzuk scoring in the first period, then adding back-to-back second period strikes.
LSSU put 45 shots on goal in Friday's game, then 52 on Saturday. Davenport changed goalies midway through the second contest, and each saw around a full-game's worth of pucks coming their way, showing Head Coach Steve Kaunisto's commitment to exciting, quality play.
