AUGUSTA, Mich. - The Lake Superior State (LSSU) men's golf team placed 9th at the 2024 GLIAC Championships on Friday and Saturday.

Yongbo Guan (Quingdao, China) had the top showing amongst his teammates with a two-day total of 158 (79, 79). Meanwhile, Charles Johnson (Green Bay, Wis.) was close behind with a final score of 159 (83, 76) after a seven stroke improvement on the second round. Jackson Theiler (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and Charley Stephen (Oshawa, Ont.) each finished with a final total of 160 after two rounds of competition with Theiler improving by four strokes on day two of the tournament. Collin Pajot (Brighton, Mich.) would then round out the lineup for the Lakers with a final total of 174.
