ASHLAND, Ohio - Ashland snapped the Lake
Superior State women's tennis team's three-match win streak with a
5-4 victory Saturday.
Despite the loss, Lakers Adrienne DiVito and Carolyn Pumford
were 3-0 for the week at Nos. 3 and 5 singles, respectively. Both
players pulled out three-set victories against AU. As No. 2 doubles
partners, they were 2-1 for the week.
The Lakers closed out the regular season 4-6 overall and 2-6 in
the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The Eagles
improved to 8-2 overall and 6-1 in the GLIAC.
