UNIVERSITY CENTER - Redshirt freshman Ingrid
Pflieger garnered her first collegiate No. 1 singles victory
during the Lake Superior State women's tennis team's dual
match at Saginaw Valley State on Saturday.
Pflieger defeated SVSU's Katie Hanover, 7-6, 6-1, to improve to
1-2 in singles competition. The Lakers (1-2 overall, 0-2 Great
Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) posted a 4-2 mark
in singles for the day, but were swept in doubles play for the
third time this season and lost the match, 5-4. SVSU improved to
1-2 overall and 1-2 in the GLIAC.
