SAULT STE. MARIE - Ashland University defeated Lake Superior
State in women's tennis, 7-2, Friday at the Arbuckle Student
Activity Center.
Sophomore Erin Wiethoff at No. 5 singles and sophomore

and 6-4, while Pflieger beat Erika Sullivan, 6-3 and 6-4.
"Erin played an outstanding match at No. 5 singles and really
came on strong throughout her play," said first-year coach Tom
Linhart. "Pflieger regained some of her early-season form as she
took at straight set victory."
