In No. 2 doubles, Laura Fernandez and Macarena Bielsa improved to 2-0 on the season by defeating Meghann Fitzpatrick and Kaitlin Snider.

In singles play Harvey picked up her first career victory as the Lakers' No. 1 with a three-set 6-1, 1-6, 6-2 win over Fitzpatrick.

The Eagles (0-4) earned their lone point for the match in No. 2 singles when Brdicka topped Roberts 7-5, 6-2. The Lakers responded by sweeping the final four spots in singles play.

Bielsa, a junior newcomer from Madrid, Spain, earned her first career singles victory in No. 3 singles with a 6-2, 6-2 win in straight sets over Keron. Another Spaniard, Fernandez, followed in No. 4 singles with a 6-4, 6-2 defeat of Snider to win her second consecutive singles match.
